GM FAMILY FIRST

Who is eligible for the GM Employee Discount?
Active and Retired GM and GM Financial employees:
  • Are eligible for the discount and can sponsor the following purchasers: their spouse, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, step grandchildren, grandparents (including in-law and step), parents, stepparents, siblings (including full, half and step), mother-/father-in-law, sons-/daughters-in-law, brothers-/sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Former hourly or salaried GM employees:
  • With 5-20 years of service - are eligible for the discount and can sponsor the following purchasers: their spouse and dependent children. (Children must be under 21 years of age or full-time students under 25 years of age at time of purchase.)
  • With 20+ years of service - are eligible for the discount and can sponsor the following purchasers: their spouse, children, stepchildren, grandchildren, step grandchildren, grandparents (including in-law and step), parents, stepparents, siblings (including full, half and step), mother-/father-in-law, sons-/daughters-in-law, brothers-/sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Widows and widowers of former GM employees:
  • With 5-20 years of service - are eligible for the discount and can sponsor the following purchasers: their spouse and dependent children. (Children must be under 21 years of age or full-time students under 25 years of age at time of purchase.)

GM Family Legacy
If you received the Employee Discount through your parents but no longer can, the Family Legacy Program may allow you to keep using this valuable discount.

Follow these easy steps to save:
1. Sign in or register at: gmfamilyfirst.com
2 . Select "Get Authorization Number" from the Program menu and follow the prompts.
3. Print your authorization number and take it to your dealer along with a copy of your school ID/badge or a copy of a current pay stub.

      The GM Military Discount is an easy way to save hundreds, even thousands, on eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles. Active Duty members, Reservists, National Guard members, Veterans within one year of discharge date and Retirees - including their spouses - of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard can all take advantage of these helpful savings.

      How the discount works:
      To take advantage of this opportunity, you'll need an authorization number. Authorization numbers may be requested for the purchase or lease of two (2) vehicles per calendar year.

      Just because GM isn't part of the Exchange Program doesn't mean that you can't take advantage of this great discount.         Who is eligible for the GM First Responder/Medical Professional Discount?
        Discount is available on eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac vehicles to the following: paid or volunteer Firefighters, Police – including Police Officers, Sheriffs and Sheriff’s Deputies, Correction Officers, State Troopers and Federal Law Enforcement Officers – EMTs/Paramedics and 911 Dispatchers.
